By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:

2. Recognize bulb, wire, battery, switch and circuit.
3. Arrange the given electrical components with respect to the circuit.
Construct a simple electrical circuit.

Warm-up:
The practitioner will show one by one bulb, wire, battery and switch to the students and will ask them to name it.
The students will respond to the practitioner’s question.
Development:
The practitioner will demonstrate the making of a simple electrical circuit.
The facilitator will ask the students to name the electrical components and draw similar shape on their note book along with its name.
The practitioner will proceed with electrical components and construct a simple electrical circuit.
The facilitator will further assist students an asked to follow this step-by-step process. When wire, bulb, switch and battery are connected correctly, they make a pathway for electric current. The pathway that electricity follows is called a circuit. The facilitator will assist the students in the hands-on activity.
In the end, the facilitator will ask the students to name and, later, recognize electrical components.
Conclusion:
The facilitator shell wrap-up the lesson by reinforcing the concepts of electrical currents and logical sequence of making electrical circuit.

Recognize different materials as conductors and insulators of electricity.

The practitioner will show one by one bulb, wire, battery and switch to the students and will ask them to name it.

The practitioner will demonstrate the making of a simple electrical circuit.
The facilitator will ask the students to identify the materials that conduct electricity and those who do not conduct electricity. Write their names on their note book.
The practitioner will proceed with electrical components and construct a simple electrical circuit.
The facilitator will further assist students an asked to follow this step-by-step process. Most metals are good conductors of electric current because electricity flows through them easily. Metals such as copper, silver aluminum are good conductors. But paper, wood and plastic are poor conductors. When something does not let electricity flow easily, it is called an insulator. The facilitator will assist the students in the hands-on activity.
In the end, the facilitator will ask the students to name conductors and insulators of electricity.

The practitioner will demonstrate the brick layering in a step by step manner.
The facilitator will ask the students to name the shape of the brick and draw similar shape on their note book along with its name.
The practitioner will proceed with brick layering procedure until all three tools used in brick layering are introduced. The students will be asked to follow this step-by-step process.
The facilitator will assist the students in the hands-on activity.
In the end, the facilitator will ask the students to name and, later, recognize geometrical shapes. The facilitator will further assist students in writing/drawing the steps of brick layering a logical sequence.
